Parents will learn how to plan for when their teen with disabilities transitions from adolescence to adulthood. Speaker will discuss the need for obtaining power of attorney or guardianship so parents may continue advocating for their child’s needs, such as health and government benefits, post-secondary education, vocational training and housing.
